They can only if the file is hotlinked,else they got to be premium.It is in the last tier.

So for users to download the max filesize is 699mb, so the files end up in the $50 per 1000 downloads right?

No offense, but then the final tier makes no sense, as free users can't download the files, how can one get $65 per 1000 downloads if nobody can download

As I said, free users can download the file if it is hotlinked.Meaning get trafficshare BW and hotlink the files.

speeds from the US to the EU are bad, speeds from US to ASIA/AFRICA/AP are bad.
speeds from the EU to the US are bad, speeds from EU to ASIA/AFRICA/AP are good.

EU is a better location for speeds world wide but the US gives a safe-harbour under DMCA which is why hosts comprimise on speed for less effort needed on law assurance
