I knew it was unmanaged but since they were willing to tell me about installing Kloxo. Then why couldn't they have told me more so I could install it? I would be happy, instead I'm looking for hosting elsewhere. I guess that was their goal..

Na if they are selling it as unmanaged they are assuming that you know what to do with a vps its not their problem dude

They were nice enough to tell you how to install Kloxo most unmanaged hosts will just tell you to get stuffed

Just next time go for a managed vps then they have no reason to not help you
Signature too big, removed by staff.

    It begins...
Was the point of this thread achieved? Have you figured out the issue yet?

Also, to su into root, you just need to type 'su -' (without quotes).

Personally I would help you with the issue, even if it was unmanaged, the only time I wouldn't help if it was something like setting up mail servers or something like that.

Many hosts are many staff are different from one another, it just depends on what kind of people they are. Personally I like helping people because it makes me feel happy and useful and the second reason is because people will recommend my services if I do a good job.

Other hosts sometimes would rather have to do very little work, get paid less and not have recommendations.

I was very lucky to have someone who helped me when I started out with VPS's.

So kiss me and smile for me, say that you'll wait for me <'3

    Re: Sp32

Tech support should take lessons from you on how to deal with people.
Again I knew I bought an unmanaged vps but how much effort would it be
to tell me "dude, you need to edit /etc/resolv.conf 1st". That's asking
too much and for that I'm gonna give up vps's, wrong....
