    Nice. Thanks Jason .. Banning .htaccess won't be that effective. But on my forum, blocking IP's is done manually.

    Before blocking any IP, check out its origin, maybe you're just blocking an innocent person who has nothing to do with that. Hacked root logins and botnet zombies don't live forever. Owners of the dedicated servers eventually find out that their server is used for malicious activities, and zombies (people) will find out that they're zombies, and they'll format their HDD.

    As I said, don't block the IP or multiple IP's unless you really have the reason.
