Setting Up Private Nameservers VPS+GOdaddy

Hey,

Need some help in setting up name servers ie n1.example.com & ns2.example.com with my domain. I have VPS with cent0s6 and the domains are registered on godaddy.

I tried adding hosts ns1 & ns2 on godaddy but it doesn't seem to work. I have allowed time for propagation.

Any help appreciated

it's depend on control panel you used.(kloxo,cpanel,XAMPP etc)
btw i also want to learn this..please help

Forgot to add that, im using Cpanel

1st register nameservers with your VPS IP or IP`s in the godaddy control panel . Then after that attach them to your domain .

Go to the domain manager for the domain you are trying to add the nameservers for scroll down to the bottom left and you will see


"Host Summary (add)"

You can add them there. Make sure you set the same ip addresses in bind in cpanel.
