    Default server help

    have a vps that when viewing ip/~username i get

    You don't have permission to access /~username on this server.
    Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.


    so i mess with properties and get

    never had this issue what am i doing wrong

    Did ur host pre secure your vps ?

    Just a node you can enable and disabled for all accounts or any seperate account
    It's amazing, being in a community can cause hate. Competitors or not - DDOS isn't cool :)

    ^ it could be that, or possibly the permissons are wrong. just chown em to the user o chmod

    sorry has direct admin

    as far as securing not sure since i never bought from this host and my other servers are with someone different

    i did install csf

    who is the owner of the directory ?
    apache or root ?
    try changing it ..also check if it has proper permissions ( 755 for folders .,etc.)
