Wordpress 3.0 menu/navigation (help please)

Hi, i want to add a navbar below the header of my site but when i try to add one using this "<?php wp_nav_menu();>" this happens . I want something like the one in http://2010dev.wordpress.com/. does anyone know how to do it using WP3.0 or some other software?

the one on that site is done with the new menu widget feature. it is in the appearance settings

that widget is only for the sidebars. i want the one below the header image, the nav bar with mouse over drop downs.

You probably need to edit the CSS that controls that menu.

yeah in the css make sure the arrangement it set to inline

whew i barely knew what i was doing but i finally made it work, i kept playing with 2010 wordpress 3.0 theme's style css,making it apply to my theme, and gradient css codes i found online. check it out http://www.warezisit.com/ . Thanks guys!

Thanks for pointing that out! It was fine when i viewed it in Opera, but not so for Firefox. Fixed it now.

i believe each WP theme has its own structure on how menu are being coordinated with each other, so you may want to refer it from your theme producer or theme manual
