Laptop has gone retarded :/

There's some problem with my laptop. When ever I click on any icon, it pop's up a message saying, Delete file? At least 8-10 messages pop up. I scanned for virus but none are found. What should I do?

Was using some microsoft antivirus sometime back..
(I've everything fikin thing legit on my laptop. So there are very less chances of virus)

It's a virus/adware which edited values from your registry. Do you have a registry backup?

These things can't be traced using an AV.

Do you have Windows 7? If yes use restore function. If you don't have AutoBackup enabled you don't have a backup.

Try using AVG Internet Security
Such a virus once entered my acer lappy and instead of delete it always opnd properties of the file
I used AVG Internet security and a Legit box paid key and scanned it, found some holy shit virus and cleaned the lappy

Fixed everything

Malwarebytes'... Free thing that can almost always fix your problems... google it, download it, deep scan with it...

If you are using XP, use ComboFix. I only suggest using it on XP though.

Make sure you save it to your desktop before running.
