    Default Review HornyBlog.org

    Hey all,

Over the past months loads of changes have been made to hornyblog, adding more filehosts, deleting all dead posts (over 5000 ) adding a link checker feature etc.
Would like a review, and to know if there is anything more to be fixed? A new design perhaps? Thanks in advance

Looks good. One question mate. I'm working in creating a porn blog to spread my porn links. Are you having great income from it? (From downloads only)

Coon I would move the meta widget to the left side just so the side bars look symetrical. Also deleted posts with bad links is counterintuitive as even though they are dead they will bring in google traffic if the dead post matches any keywords searched.

Fap2This has its links killed pretty quick since we got pretty popular, but i never delete the posts. I am averaging 1500 hits a day from google and most hits go to posts with dead links.

Also that poll thing looks horrendous kills the color scheme of the site. Use WP-Poll if you wanna integrate a poll. I am using it on my site check it out.

Also your choice of keywords is hurting you more than helping. you should have no more than 10 keywords and google sees using phrases like you do in your keywords as keyword spam.

You also want your description to actually have words found on your site.

@ crepito, it's decent, but note my site is over 2 years old, it takes a long time to grow.

@ Trueno22 thanks for the input

WP Polls doesn't work anymore (don't ask me why - unexplainable). I realize the colours aren't good, but it makes the poll more noticeable, and I usually don't put up polls - just this now.

About the keywords.. I don't really use many. I also got a bit of a google improvement over the past months so I don't want to make major adjustments to my title/description/keywords that can mess things up.

The dead posts - well, better have a good user experience (direct traffic is more valuable with all these paying filehosts than google traffic). Furthermore I don't see the point in getting traffic to dead posts, those people won't like the site on the first view (so they'll most likely leave) and they can't download from a filehost, so no income, apart from ads, but that's like $10 a month anyway.

Also when removing the poll, the sidebars are symetrical again

Thanks again for the input - I can recommend you to do delete dead posts though at your own blog. I know how fast things get deleted (sometimes they delete my stuff after 2 hours) so it's really a bitch for the visitors to finally have found a good clip they want, and then they see dead links.

I know what you mean, but say someone searches on google for xyz and my site pops up they visit it and while xyz might not be there anymore seeing a new site they never knew of might lead them to look for abc and possibly bookmark the site. Which leads to direct traffic.

But the dead links will lead to way more less bounce traffic. Returning visitors is what you really need.
