how to check forum type and version
is there any site to get details of version and type

Example : IPB2, VB3, VB4, IPB3, mybb
like that i need to check, some stes will hide version and type...
i would like to know them for posting...

in some sites its not showing ip2 or ip3...

You can differentiate with login links,
Example


phpbb2 login link is site.com/login.php
phpbb3 login link is site.com/ucp.php?mode=login ....
vbulletin login link is site.com/login.php (in all versions)
ipbv2 login link is site.com/index.php?act=Reg&CODE=00
ipbv3 login link is site.com/index.php?app=core&module=global ....

and for vbulletin you can easily identify by looking the site and if you not just right click and select view source, you will find vb version somewhere at top,,

e.g. for KWWH

* vBulletin 3.8.5 CSS
* Style: 'KWWHunction 2'; Style ID: 9

also vb4 have sidebar and a bit different navbar buttons
