PHPBB vs MYBB

if you were given choice between PHPBB and MYBB,which would you choose and why?i need your opinion regarding this

I would prefer MyBB as its nice and installing plugins is a breeze and AdminCP too very easy to navigate.

phpBB for sure.

More secure,has a great support team and developers,it has everything needed and it's been online for a while so it should be more trusted by the public.

As it has got more mods than MYBB
Also very easy to manage ....

Personally, i wouldn't ask which one to use.

I'd use the one i'm most used too or can get around easier......

Because at the end of the day, it's going to be YOU doing/adding all the changes/mods not the users.

well messiah,i can see where you are coming from,but i`m completely new to forum software.

i guess i`ll follow your advice and try out both and see which i like/is easier..i have time till july to launch!

Yes, well there is that way Effective, but you can't really call most people here real webmasters, 9/10 just install a script, slap a theme on n think it's the dogs bollocks.

Also, people never mention that MyBB is much younger than phpbb, so of course there won't be as much mods/styles out as phpbb.

But yeah, personally i would what you just said, try both and see what you like.

i was googling about phpbb vs mybb, people replied that phpbb uses phpsesion id which comes in url, and is bad for seo.

i hope i dint make a jack of myself,can someone tell me if thats correct and what it means'?
