IF statement for phpbb3 ?

I'm trying to do some sexy stuff on PlatinumW.org but I dunno how I can fix it

What I want:

IF forum(or w/e) = index.php
           thing 1
ELSE 
             blahblah 2
ENDIF

Problem is, I don't know how to use/write the IF statement to check if the current page is index.php or not... this part I mean forum(or w/e) = index.php

Any help appreciated

My problem is, I've installed SEO tags, keywords & description, it works perfectly for every viewforum & viewtopic, but on index, it's just empty...
So I want to add my own tags on the index, and on the other pages I want to keep that standard {SEO_TAGS} mod. Will it work or not?

That will work, but you must have missed some setting in the SEO mod.
check all settings before changing the code.
