Googled around and found a ready made code.. needed instructions where to send the POST request.. the rest was damn easy

Quite basic but yeah handy

Instructions:

1. Install scrot curl and zenity. On a debian based system the following will do:
   

   sudp apt-get install scrot curl zenity

2. Download the script:
   http://www.mediafire.com/?b5cho255alKWWHs85
   chmod +x /path/to/script
3. Set the keyboard shortccut (GNome only)
   Alt+F2 --> gconf-editor --> apps --> metacity --> keybinding_commands --> write down the location the the script in any empty value. --> global_keybindings --> run_commandX where X is the Number in the name field in keybinding_commands.
