Using SSH, Apache, MySQL without Control Panel? How?

Hey guys.

Does anyone know how i can use Apache, MySql direct on centos without any control panel and is it safe?

As i have 350MB Ram,so dont want to use up alot. I also need to run 1 cronjob aswell.

I need to transfer all files which i can do via wget and would i be able to restore my database and all.

Please assist and provide ways.

installing them is easy ... if you wanna use mysql you can use it by starting the mysql from ssh and then continue about apache i can't be sure ....
