Inferno Shoutbox 2.5.2 Problems

Whenever I load my site, it's always stuck at "Loading..." and then idles after the set time.

I can't figure out how to fix this, and it's driving me crazy.

Please help. I'm glad to see how much help this site provides people. I only hope you'll be able to help me.

ok this problem is surely the most issued , issue in the vBulletin area. I was there myself as well but the issue its due to the php version running. if your running 5.3.x + , it causes what your seeing following the loading..., don't get me wrong it'll run fine on 5.3.x but using it will come to other issues like the well know error "Deprecated: Assigning the return value of new by reference is deprecated in...." + the loading etc, i recommend for you to downgrade your php version to 5.2.x (5.2.17 works best), may i ask what vBulletin forum version your on? but i'm sure if you downgrade your php version it'll work , as for many cases for me and help from me on other sites, it worked . If you still get the problem, i'd be more than glad to take a look

I'm on Version 5.3.3. How would I downgrade?

And would that cause any problems with anything else?

ahh ok well it'll require WHM cpanel if you do have WHM ,login to WHM (https://yourserverip:2087) , then WHM -> Apache Update in the sidebar and follow its steps . if not what panel are you running for your server so i can help break things down

nope but unless if you're scripts that require a newer version of php as to 5.3.x+
