Default SSH: how to restore backup in different account?

    Hello guys,

    I need your help here...

I made a full backup of my account and now I have a file called cpmove-account1.tar.gz in my /home

I need to make some tests, so I created a new account with a subdomain and a different account with account2.

    My question is:
How can I restore the backup of account1 to account2?
    account1 have domain www.domain.com and account2 have domain test.domain.com

Basically I want to copy all files, folders, permissions and databases from account1 to account2.
Is there any fast method to do that?
I dont want to copy manually because is an account with 6GB and I need all folders and files permissions...

    Any suggestion?

Since it it a duplicate account rename the original to the new one and extract the gz. It should recreate the original one.

hi Lock Down, thank you for your reply.

what do you mean? rename the file cpmove-account1.tar.gz to cpmove-account2.tar.gz ?
    and run the command below?
    Code:
    /scripts/restorepkg account2
or rename the file cpmove-account1.tar.gz to cpmove-account2.tar.gz, move the file to /home/account2 and run the command below?
    Code:
    gunzip cpmove-account2.tar.gz
This really work renaming the file?

Ok what is the first folder in this backup?

I meant you have under home account1 & account2 folders rename account1 (which should be the backup) to account3 and extract the cpmove-account1.tar.gz file. It should recreate account1 if that is what it started with in normal situations.
