hi everybody,
please check your download counter because it doesn't count correctly when a file is downloaded. I've noticed this problem since 3 days (23-24-25 august)

I've tried to download some files from different PCs (obviusly not logged in) and then i checked the counter but it didn't increase
i provide you the id of one of files i have downloaded that the system doesn't count::

I'm interested to upgrade my account to Premium, but if these problems won't be fixed i will be constrained to change host
i don't think that is my account's issue but maybe a system's bug

However there is something strange in your answer
I wrote that i've try to download, obviously not logged in, so i'm an anonym user.
I don't want to earn, downloading my own files for all this time(I've noticed this problem since 23-24-25 august.), that i upload them before by myself. I've got the original on my hdd.

I've read in some blogs that other user's have the same problem, i don't believe all those users are download themselves files.

So
"My friends" have downloaded other files and they told me that the file work fine, so i'm sure that they downloaded all the parts of them.
i've got other id, that counter doesn't increase such as:

Can you explain me what's mean that the file was updated i.e. [Updated On: 2011-08-21 17:07:59] when it was created [Created On: 2011-08-18 18:20:26] maybe something/someone have update the count.... because there is not something else to update, i don't have renamed or moved them.

Your download counter fluctuates between 20 and 135 downloads a day. This is not a bug in our system, as it is more like your download stats aren't consistent.

It seemes to me that your answer don't fit my question, for the second time. It is not a professional behaviour.
I didn't ask yoy about the total download number or if there are consistent or not.
You didn't explain me the actual reason why some of my counters are not increasing. It's not possible that a counter values 0 while another counter values 2 or 3, because some people tell me that they successfully downloaded every part of the file.
You didn't explain me as well why the file seems to heve been modified 2/3 days after the upload. (new update Created On: 2011-08-18 18:20:25 Updated On: 2011-09-05 12:24:28)
"This is not a bug in our system" must be that there are an agent or a job that update the counter of the file periodicaly, to seems that a file was not downloaded where it realy was

Here are a few reasons: No one wants to download your file specifically when there are thousands of other link consisting the same file. Or maybe people aren't interested in what you're uploading. Or maybe because they have other consistent site owners who are posting the same files as you but are more reliable on their updates. These are just a few of the bunch.
You jumped from 21 downloads to 135 downloads in a day, should we be worried and accuse you of download fraud? You only made 1 sale in about 2500 downloads, is it also our fault that you didn't get more sales revenue?
I apologize in advance that you didn't get the answer you so much desire. However it doesn't change the fact that your files are not being downloaded. If you're a constant uploader with 500 downloads a day and then you have 30 downloads in one day, then maybe there is something wrong. However, that is not the case.
And you stated that when you download you're an anonymous user. Just because you're an anonymous user doesn't mean that your IP has changed, thus the download still points to the owner/uploader of the file.
Currently you're not e-mailing support because you have an actual problem. You're e-mailing us because you're not seeing the 'right' number of downloads as you wish. You didn't encounter a actual bug; but because you ''think" there is a bug, we should be prompt to go find something that doesn't exist. That, is not an error we can fix. Next time if you can't upload a file onto you account, then maybe I can help you out.

- I don't want your charity, I simply want the counter to work correctly, if a file is downloaded 20 times, the counter must value 20, not 10 or 0.

- this is not the situation, I am sure that my friend downloaded all the parts that compose the final file, so I don't care if other people don't want to download my files, at least one person did it, so the counter is not correct; moreover, many files are protected with a password, so you cannot download various parts from different sites.

For me,WU support has reason,bcuz im getting low stats,but my referrals are getting same like before,so its my fault,isnt their fault if he got low donwloads,and the count fail happens too to me,if you got 50 dl it goes to 48 or 49 but then it goes again to 50

I am using wupload and several other hosts and for me wupload gives the highest ppd earnings among all.

The problem some people facing might be due to specific server issues and Willy have already told they are adding new servers to help with overloading issues. So everyone please wait patiently as its one of the best trusted file host out there.
