Google documents was down for a while today. YES the almighty Google was down for a whole half hour and surprisingly it's not the first time it's being offline. When you consider millions of people use Google Documents to work in real jobs (not uploaders) and the only copy of the project or data they are working on is stored in the cloud and it can't be accessed it's a big problem that costs millions of dollars in damages to companies around the world. Companies have thousands of employees sitting around doing nothing except burning money. If Google Documents plan on replacing Microsoft Office they can't afford any downtime.... ever. It's the exact same for their chromebooks. They don't have internal storage to speak of and everything is based on the cloud so a Google Chromebook is useless without a cloud. The online tech world goes crazy, Twitter spikes, search trends soar, social media fuels the chaos and reports, news and blogs fill rss feeds of the Google v Microsoft Office war.

But no! Here on KWWH it's different and it's noticed when Fileserve or WBB are down. Priorities people. Let's get back to the real world.
