My site got Hacked....Help how to prevent this..?

i unused site(just installed phpbb there) got hacked by some hacker[pakistan Hacker]

i don't edited or done anything in .htaacess, i think it may the reason..

any body know how to prevent like this in future.....? please recommend me some tools to check whather my site is safe or not.......?

Another thing, they also changed the index page for divxbb.com[now i deleted] hosted in same host[same folder]

Both the sites are hosted in single hosting company.
using DirectAdmin panel....

i am unaware of this....so how to prevent this in future.......?

Get a different host and use mybb as forum.. he could have rooted the hostings server jyst my guess

after entering the file manage in DirectAdmin, new file is inserted or edited one(i don't know) but they change some think there

Because they inserted/altered the two domains in single host panel

it sounds his hosting providers been rooted which means the hacker has full control no matter what you do he could still get in your best bet is to find a new host

Find a good host with good support, this is the most important thing after all the features that come with the hosting package. I advice you to install anti-spam plugins so you will not get spammed or worse. If possible get a host with cPanel.
