Question Is Firefox all add-ons are safe to use?

Is it safe to use any of add-ons of Firefox? I mean there are lots of add-ons available on the Firefox official site. Some add-on have review , some does not. Today I need a add-ons but I could not find any review about the add-ond. Is it safe to use that add-ons? It's not popular. Can It download Malware , spyware etc? or try to steal my pass from my browser? I am not expert so why I am asking here.

Sorry for my bad English & also sorry If I post in wrong section.

Depends if addon was reviewed by mozilla or not.
    I'd still be careful.

As NEC said. You can create add-ons that can do all sorts of things to your browser, particularly FireFox as their extensions have more deeper intergration than say Chrome.

Your encouraged to only use approved ones as they say on their site:
Unless clearly marked otherwise, add-ons available from this gallery have been checked and approved by Mozilla's team of editors and are safe to install. We recommend that you only install approved add-ons. If you wish to install unapproved add-ons or add-ons from third-party websites, use caution as these add-ons may harm your computer or violate your privacy. Learn more about our approval process
So even if it doesn't have any reviews as long as it's approved it should be ok.
