I just tried to register 10 there, they show in the cart at .99 then your re-directed and they show at ?4.99

1and1.com is doing .99 .com domains

Namecheap $1.99 .com Domains Hi Guys, like this namecheap page and once 10k people like it we get $1.99, which are 1 per account but make 20 accounts then you can register 20 domains, just transfer them all to 1 account a few days later.
