Ok I have an issue I have a dedi server and a resellers account

well domain.com is on dedi server, setup img.domain.com on resellers account which is not on dedi server

however the script I am using will not work on a subdomain so is there anyway to setup domain.com/img on resellers account and still have domain.com hosted on dedi server?

Hope what I want to do makes sense

just change the DNS through the registrar. Not on your server. That is a hop that is un-necessary

^^ That's not really doing much to help his problem.. Wont make a difference where he changes his dns. Also it's better to change you DNS through your server as it will be more reliable in case you registar decides it's an illegal site and throws you off.

Also for your problem. I've tried and asked about this before and as far as I got it's not possible.

adding a name to your dns settings will solve the problem
does your dedicated server has cpanel /whm ?

Bacialy, what you are trying to do can't be done. At least not with doing a lot of hacking. Domains/Sub-domains point to IPs, so the only way to use access a site on another server using your main domain is to use a sub-domain.

have u tried using the IP instead of the domain?

http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xx/~username/img

replace ip and username with the ip and username of your reseller acc.

thanks vizon thats what I thought but figured I would ask
and CrucifynDi3 I may do that but wanted to try to get away from doing that
