    Default Whats different about java and Javascript?

    Hi guys, can you tell me whats the difference between Java,JavaScript, and Ajax im pretty new to them and i was learning them a little while back but stopped.

    I tought it was that Java is being used on platforms like, windows, lion, linux
    and that JavaScript is used in html

    Java was developed by SUN Microsystems.

    Javascript was developed by Netscape (Oracle).
