Go with the better CPU, you should be fine with the 4G's of ram you have.

Also, look into the i5 CPU. Runs way smoother than 2 Duo's.

Yea, they had a sale on NewEgg a while back. It only cost me $80 more than the Crucial 8GB. It doesn't do much, the true beasts of my rig are the 580's in sli

Mate I would recommend you to save your money, and then when you will have enough buy some i5proc, good motherboard supporting it and ram
Your recent upgrade wont be cost effective
