    Question Need Help With Mybb Transfer New Domain To Work With My Forum

    I have a setup a new domain now I just need to get mybb to work with this new domain. The backup I have links to the old domain how can I get mybb to fully link to my new domain?? If you can help out plz send me a pm

    its easy just import the database . in ur new domain.

    Already tried the forum is all screwed up the skin template is missing and I can not login

    I did not get what you meant.

    Well to set up backup on new domain,

    First : You should have the file structure backuped of the old domain. File structure means all the files in your control panel as it.

    Second : Have the backup saved.

    Third : Go to your new control panel and import the file structure to root or wherever you want it to be.

    Fourth : Import the DB

    Fifth : Edit the inc/config file and change the details in there to reflect changes of new domain. Change info like DB name, DB Username Board URL etc.

    You are done
