Public Rapidleech-Need help optimizing apache and php for performance of VPS

My VPS has 2 GB dedicated RAM and 2.4 GHz CPU frequency, 1 Gb/s port speed. I have not done any optimization of apache or anything. So rapidleech script currently on a subdomain does not load when like 8 or 9 of my friends start leeching. Site wont even open.

Rapidleech experts or anyone who knows how to optimize apache for performance, please tell me about the apache configuration to be used in httpd.conf or is there any other way to get this done ?

use vinaleech script (is better then rapidleech script and no need HDD for files.hi will use only you internet connection (no Hard disc need)
