MP3SearchEngines.net LatestMovieTrailers.org Talking.soVPS is an independent "virtual server" running on a dedicated server along with other similar systems. So basically its not a real server, but rather a part of it that works independently.
VPS's can run on both Windows and Linux, and may be few more.
RDP is a protocol. You can connect to a remote computer from your own PC using this protocol called Remote Desktop Protocol.

KWWHunction.com Google.comHello Zoung,
You should ask Difference between VPS and RDA.
RDP is Remote Desktop Protocol , the RDP which you usualy refer to is called RDA ( Remote Desktop Account)
So Yeah back to VPS v/s RDA
Windows VPS and RDA Both are accessed by RDP.
VPS Have dedicated Ram and CPU while RDA has shared Ram and CPU.
VPS usually have Admin access and You are free to install any Application of your own.
RDA, usually do not have admin access and You need to request App Installs if needed.Intel Xeon E3 -1240 16 GB DDR3 Ram 4 x 1 TB HDD 1 Gbit 100 TB BW -

KWWHunction.com Google.comHmm VPS would be better, Speed depends on the connection and Number of users using it.
I would say go with RDA.Intel Xeon E3 -1240 16 GB DDR3 Ram 4 x 1 TB HDD 1 Gbit 100 TB BW -

If you want to install every application you need, then you definitely need a VPS because on RDA, the admin often has rules regarding what can be installed and what cannot be. Also a VPS has dedicated internet connection, CPU, RAM etc. none of which are shared which means you don't have to worry about anyone else abusing the resources. But a VPS will usually cost you more than an RDA.
