Small PHP help

Hi guys, I want to install IP.Board and it asks me to have it at a minimum of 128MB,

I increased it to 256MB,
but I can see that it has increased 256MB for master value but for local value,
and ipb installation is saying I have 32M

so how do I change the local value?

how did you increased it.

you have to add memory_limit = 256M in php.ini

I solved,
I had to add a line to the global config php file in the root folder of my webpage, and this had changed the root memory limit !!
