Besides, most of the Changes that have been made to KWWH lately have been like 'Brownie Points' Changes.

There were some cosmetic changes, like Rounded corners, which are still inconsistent.
Most boxes have rounded corners at the bottom.
When creating/editing threads, the boxes don't have rounded corners at the bottom.

Even if this is a good suggestion, considering this trend, I am assuming the next in line is vbExperience, or things like that.


On topic, I think it would be a huge task to verify if a guy owns a website.

It wouldn't actually be that hard to verify ownership. They could simple insist on users uploading a blank file like KWWHunction_USERIDHERE.txt to their website, and simply running a script that checks the file exists. Similar to how you verify ownership of a site in google webmaster tools etc..

Whats wrong in adding the site they most admire?

Whats the problem you got with the sites they add. Their profile their wish ... Admiring=Sharing . Whats wrong in adding the site they most admire like i mostly admire both google and KWWH .

Ok lets go balls out.

1)

When i am an buyer looking for some service then first thing i would look is what sites the seller has.
As right now we can add any sites as our own it greats problems.

We could fix it with simple mod but oh well looks like its 2 much to ask.

2)

If i am an Co Owner on some site and i would like to display it on my profile then it can suck if we will add this mod.
Only way to bypass it is to add 2 types of tags and these are Owner and Partner.

3)

You might think that what harm can simple URL in profile cause.
Well if you are long time member and you will add some random high end forum to your profile while you are selling it on random marketplace then its called scam.
Buyer from that marketplace will come here here,look that you are old member and you have that site in your profile and might agree with the sale.

I could add 7 more reasons why we should remove or modify the adding URL in profile but i wont waste yours or my time doing it.
