    You can pick just about everything you want that goes into your computer this is the place I am buying my next computer from. I would go with the Gamer Dragon 8000 & change a few things

    8GB RAM

    1TB HD

    56OTi GTX nvidia card.

    Games run very very smooth on set to high, or ultra high in some games.

    Cost me around 1000$. I don't think alienware will give u any better specs, may be they'll just add up more HD, or better graphics card. But believe me 560Ti GTX is all you need for next coming 10-15 years.
    bro i got dell laptop XPS 15z and they cost me around 65,000 in RS..
    how you get it so cheap,i mean the config in 45,000 in RS if we convert 1000$ ..

    Try building your own.
    Don't buy alien ware.

    My suggestion:

    Intel Core i7 2600K 3.40GHz
    ASUS Sabertooth P67
    8-12GB DDR3
    800W Corsair GS
    1x (1TB Western Digital Caviar (7200 RPM) (64MB Cache) )
    1x (128GB SSD Kingston)
    1x NVIDIA GeForce GTX 580

    You can play or do what ever you want at BEST!

    Usually it is the deal of money. You just gather the sum and got to he store where the computers are being sold where the people are making the custom order fro your budget.

    Well mine is a desktop, not a laptop. Laptop's charge u much more compared to desktop's.

    + 580 is not required seriously. 560Ti does the job. + Why would u spend extra 300 or 250$ just for a minor increase in quality? + Performance wise, 560Ti is better than 580. So don't go for 580, buy 560Ti.

    For the sake of gaming you can ignore the i7 series and AMD 6 core and here is why;

    1. AMD hex core CPU's are bitch slapped by Intels i5 series in nearly every test.
    2. i7 CPU's have Hyper Threading which is only used in things like video editing/encoding etc. Most games do not support this feature.

    My advice would be as follows;

    CPU = Intel i5.
    RAM = 4GB.
    GPU = nVidia GTX560Ti.
    MOBO = Gigabyte.

    Make sure to buy a good quality PSU too something by Antec or Corsair are good names to go with as an example. As for what to put it all in by something that suits what you need it to and fits within your budget.

    Why is everyone suggesting i7? i5 does a great job, perfect for gaming. You don't need more than 4GB RAM, and try hitting off with a 550 in terms of GPU. That should save you a lot of money, probably enough to get a very good mobo.
