Someone to create an online virus scanner script.

im interested in how difficult it would be to create an online virus scanner script. similar to The free virus scanners Norton or other big name companys offer, it would scan the users pc from my website to detect adware/viruses etc.

Its also important of having a way to Have up to date Virus definitions on this script.

im also Curious as to if it would be even possible To have the online Script/program remove the viruses As well or if that would be just impossible.

Please give me an estimation of time it woudl take to do this and a Rough cost.thanks!

Its like installing a antivirus on your computer..

But all the script would be is be a frontend for the antivirus...

The process is..

You upload the file --> antivirus is started by script command --> scans directory for file --> grabs results from antivirus log --> prints it out on screen for user...

You can easily modify it but you would have to know c++

What if someone Had NO antivirus Software on their pc? ANd they wanted to use this site to Run a virus scan? Is that the same thing?

Well the antivirus would be installed on the server..

so the user wouldnt need a antivirus..

Then what about bitdefender online antivirus it deletes virus from computers

I guess it needs some high level coding obviously as only some sites like virustotal, jotti, novirusthanks etc offers same service.
