    Default Need Help on my WP site

    I just installed WP on my hosting and my site is now online.

    But sometimes I see this error



    if not that.. this



    I already transferred my DNS to my hosting.


    My hosting is linux.

    some take upto 48hrs for dns refresh....

    masti is right, if you still facing same problem then immediately contact your service provider,

    You can check your DNS over at Pingdom http://tools.pingdom.com/ click on the DNS tab. Check the nameserver IPs are the same as the one your ISP advised you to use

    I tried to ping my site and its connected to my hosting provider.

    @cyclone
    i got this error

    Missing NS records at parent servers.

    Ill just wait for 48 hours so thats about 7 hours to go from now.

    If you ping www.yourdomain.com does it go to your hosting company's IP?

    If it does, then DNS propagation is done. Its then possibly one of the following:

    1. Your ISP (DSL provider of whatever) is using caching and the cache has not expired

    2. There is a misconfiguration at your hosting provider

    You could try to access another URL on your website eg http://www.yourdomain.com/?wiofjweofwo

    Note the ? and the rubbish after it, this is to trick a potential cache into thinking you are accessing another page. In reality you are looking for whatever the default page is that you have setup index.html or index.php
