Torrent or Filehost?

With the hottest releases so quickly posted by release blogs like rlslog etc, is it really worth it to use torrents.

For example on my RDP, I can get DL speeds of average 40MBs, while torrents barely hit 10 or 15MBs ..... and with torrents there's always the issue of keeping up your ratio.

So is being 'free' the only remaining reason to use torrents? If you have other reasons, please post them here.

Being free, u don't have to do much work too.

If one wants to download some big game, he'll have to download it in parts if he uses filehost but its a single file if he uses torrents.

If you are using an auto bot then torrent is a good choice I guess, else filehosts are just about perfect with some blazing speeds, and less raring actually !

New releases are almost posted instantly on blog sites, so it faster to DL with file host and UL. Thus not worrying about ratios.

Some stuff you just can't find on blog sites so private torrents is the way to go.

I usually use filehosts for movies. Single link, rapidshare or megaupload and much better than torrent.

Torrents. Cashwhores now a days have ruined it all, downloading from cashwhore filehosts sucks. I download from torrents unless is MU,MF links.



Private torrents of course..
