    Post Which is faster - Windows 7 or Windows XP?

    hello,
    i am thinking of upgrading my os ,i am currently using xp but i am confused that windows 7 can taking as much as load as xp ,so according to your experience please tell me that can windows 7 can take as much as load as xp and still works faster with 2gb ram and core 2 duo 2.8ghz???

    i have ati graphics card 1gb ,it easily handles big gameslike gta 4 and crysis 2 ....

    Hi, for your pc i think WinXP ; win7 would not be so fast with phoshop cs5,etc

    i have 1gb ram and p4ht and win 7 it runs fine on my pc so mate dont be old fashioned switch to win7 and now beta version of win 8 are also out

    i think you should try to install win 7, and see you self, if you not installing lot of unnecessary soft, better for you will be win 7

    coree2duo can easily handle 7 , whats ur graphics drivers if they are out-dated you must stick to XP . I had the issue with my old PC but now i upgraded

    Windows 7 with 1GB of ram? I've lived a year with that man, I could barely move the cursor across the screen, so no, it's not fine. OP, if your PC has a decent CPU and at least 2GB of ram, make the switch to Windows 7. XP has nothing unique.

    I can run my cursor perfectly fine dont know about u i guess your computer might be having some viruses thats why it was slow
