I need someone to create a couple of mods for me.
I'll describe the first mod I need now.
Mod #1: Break Up Forums
From the AdminCP I'd like to be able to put particular "Categories" (from the "Forum Manager") on new/different tabs (from the main navbar) and to edit the name of what is now the "Forum" tab and to name the additional tabs. I'd also like to be able to have a "Notification" I can add that would be a popup the first time a member navigated to that tab (I suppose the button they would have to press to dismiss the popup would have to be customized as well).
At the moment you go to my forum's homepage and there you see all the "Categories" and all the forums (Two examples of "Categories" from my forum manager are here.
If you look at the "Forum.php" page of my forum you'll see all the categories, and under them all their forums/sub-forms (if you are still confused as to what a category is or anything, let me know and I can explain it to you/show you better).
On my forum the current "Categories" are:
General
Audio/Visual Media
Books
Applications
Gaming
Console Gaming
Mobile
Adult
Trash
From the forum manager, when I'm changing settings in one of the categories so that it had it's own tab in the Navbar (and I'd like to be able to customize the Navbar titles for new tabs, and the current "Forum" tab). So by doing so I could (for example) make an "Adult" tab where I could put all the content from my current "Adult" category. This would be displayed the same way it is displayed in the "Forum" tab, and these categories would NOT be displayed in the "Forum" tab.
I'd also like to be able to have multiple Categories under one of these new tabs (just by entering in the same information) in the Forum Manager.
So, in the Forum Manager, if "Category" was selected there would be a field saying "Navtab Title" (the default would be "Forum", but I'd want it so if I changed them all, there wouldn't be a "Forum" tab) and then a place for me to enter the name of the Navtab, and also a "Navtab Display Order" where I could enter a number that would determine (from left to right) how these tabs are displayed (with the left being where the current "Forum" tab is, and the rest going from the right of that).
Please send me a PM with a quote if you're interested in the job! Let me know if I need to clarify further!
