HostHatch.comIn a RDP, you do not get admin/root access so you can't install your applications anytime you want.
In a VPS, you get admin/root access, you can install your own applications, do anything you want, and have more freedom.
Good luck!HostHatch, Inc.

threent.comVPS all the way
There you can install your own software and you get better speed (at least I have that experience)
I had yet another problem on RDP.
I couldn't download much from torrents, since disk was overloading all the time, and speeds would just drop... that was happening with even 1 active torrent. Maybe I choose bad RDP provider, but he had quite popular thread and good reviews...
And on VPS you get your own IP, so you wont get messages like: "there is already some1 logged with your IP"

With $25 either you get a 100GB RDP or just a 25 GB VPS.

If just for uploading use RDP
If you want admin access, go for VPSScrewed

One thing bad about a vps is, your control panel and other programs running will eat up your ram/cpu, so make sure you have more then that and some extra for system resources.
