geeklayout.comCopyright advice required!
i need to know something about copyright......
suppose if a person creates a website @ weeblydotcom (free webhost) say with the name XYZ.weeblydotcom and after a few months another person creates his blog XYZ.blogspotdotcom without knowing that xyz.weeblydotcom is created previously , does it mean copyright infringement????
NOTE : The content of both the blogs are entirely different..unfortunately only the title is same
As far as i know both weebly and blogspot users do not have any copyright facilities.....but i need your answers....donrambo Reviewed by donrambo on . If the content is completely different and for whatever reason this got taken to court I believe you would get away with it because you aren't actually copying anything of theirs and it was a mere coincidence that your company had the same name.
I'm no law expert but that's what I'd assume.

As long as you are not using brand or trademark name, you are safe.

Like others said as long as theres no trademark you arent violating anything, You can register KWWHunction.co.uk,KWWHunction.me,KWWHunction.do,KWWHunctio n.to or w.e you want and it will be ok since KWWH cant do anything about that since they arent a registered trademark
