gamestodownload.neti am also looking for a RDP :/
but if i buy VPS then can i access to my VPS with remote desktop?
actually i want to upload files thats y i am looking a server
i dont need any for running any site
but VPS is expensivedexter786 Reviewed by dexter786 on . How safe is RDP really? Been toying with idea of trying out RDP but I can't get past the fact that I will have to use my logins on a computer that I do not know. The potential is there for all my details to vanish along with my accounts etc. I have never used RDP so I can't/won't comment on anybody who offers the service but it would be nice to know what the exact risks are of using it in terms of theft of accounts etc. Thanks. Example.
"You want to get xxx speed line, xxx hdd, raring unraring uploading with rapidleech etc. You dont want to care about setting everything up, also when something will fail for some reason you can go and yell at the admin, hes responsibility is to fix it. "
If you agree, then you should go with rdp imho. RDP not always cost more, depends from needs

Understood rbn and thanks for that
if I did do it then my needs would roughly be;
- File & Image Uploader (registered, I have my own license but would obviously not really wanting to share that).
- Internet Download Manager.
- Rar/unrar (though if possible I would prefer 7Zip).
- Something to make screen shots with.
- No torrents needed.
- 100GB HDD ish I think since once finished downloading/uploading I will remove the files from the server.
- Good speed obviously rather pointless otherwise.
- Trusted and experienced seller.
I think that covers everything more or less, as you can see fairly basic needs overall I think. Anyway you have given me plenty to think about guys thanks
EDIT - Anyway will be back later to read further replies (if any), thanks again peeps

You can set a unix system up for remote desktop, there are plenty of tutorials..
I recently bought an RDA, just for the sake of testing and experience, can't say i feel pretty secure on it.. It's log-in, do something, log-out, shut down.
I design free logos. click here.

I think I have enough experience to share you my opinion on this. I've used/sold RDP's before and also Windows VPS'es and also Linux VPS'es in several different virtualizations.
In short: RDP isn't safe. It's better to go "no" before "sorry". The administrator of the RDP can login to your account anytime with his will! Anytime. He doesn't need to know your password. VPS or Dedicated server is secured in that side of the issue. Once you changed your administrator account password, the provider now only see a LOGON screen and nothing else even though you're working inside. They need to know your password to login. If you don't tell, they can't change the password anyhow BUT though, they can reinstall your VPS/Dedi's OS that'll totally finish everything off. Lolz.
So, if you do care about security and have budget around $40-$50. I'm 100% recommending you to try VPS.

mmm mmm!

It is safe if you stay away from bad service.
HATERS GONNA probably bring up some valid points considering I am an ignorant little twat so far up my own ass that i blame my problems on everyone and if you criticize me you're automatically wrong.
