That would depend on the other part of the name..

If download.tv was available, i would go for .tv, but in some cases it sounds stupid.
Remember, .com originally stands for .company (a registered company) and .tv stands for .television.

both would be good to get. id go for first .com if thats all you can afford. and then get the .tv later since those are more expensive.
