There's nothin like w/e they say, each and every premium sites are the same. They don't offer what they show on thier site. It's just to make "MOOLAH" as they say.

Also, the no sales thing might have something to do with Optimus being offline, he haven't been on for 3days, it's been 5days with no sales. Maybe the stats need to be updated.

Could very well be your traffic or people just didn't want to buy that day lol.

There could be a ton of reasons but nobody really would ever know.

I don't see many people giving them credit when they make sales 5 straight days haha.

Optimus, can you experiment with removing (commenting out where applicable, just temp and test) what ever changes you have made in the last 9 days? Since everyone is experiencing a huge drop (well almost everyone), give it a try?

@Splitice: Only cosmetic changes were made. I have checked your account and looked over your sites again and here are some findings and thoughts:

Your conversions may have fallen, but there is a reason for it. In fact, there have been a few new promoters and many of them are getting very good conversions.

First, what do we mean by CONVERSION?

-> How many sales per given clicks sent into Sharingzone.

This can be affected by many factors.

Splitice, your DDL site, the way it's setup, will undoubtedly have what appears to be a lower conversion, here is the reason (see this screenshot). Notice how each and every download line has a link called "DOWNLOAD"?

I'm not saying that's a bad thing. I'm saying that of the people who come to "scene" websites, the majority of buyers are newbs (people unfamiliar or too lazy to do rapidshare/hotfile or torrents etc..). Those scene users click on that link "DOWNLOAD" but don't expect the sponsored link result, and close the page. It would be different if those links were labelled "MIRROR".

Now your setup (as in the screenshot above) will send 90% of all your traffic to Sharingzone -- including those who never will buy -- so your "conversions" appear to be lower.

Next, when a user clicks a download, which opens in a new window, your frame has an anchored text link in big red bold letters that goes to Latest Downloads. You then have 4 smaller text links, un-anchored mind you, which go to Sharingzone. You are not giving Google anything to anchor your Sharingzone links -- of course, this will negatively affect your conversions too!



I would suggest:

1. changing the word "DOWNLOAD" to a smaller image, perhaps an arrow, and use an img ALT attribute on that image with the download name to give it an anchor for Google searches, OR, re-label those links to "MIRROR" or "SPONSORED DL", etc.
2. Put a link list on your main page, similar to your "RECENT SEARCHES" but make those links go to Sharingzone with your affiliate code -- this will give Google anchored links, which, when indexed by Google, will result in Google traffic going directly to those pages which will in turn raise your conversions.
3. On your download frame, put at least one anchored link to Sharingzone, same with your sponsored search result page.

Summarized, sending so much traffic using blind links will make your conversions appear lower, especially from scene traffic (even if that scene traffic is from Google).

Done! Just change button.php to button2.php, or for porn related ads, change xxxbutton.php to xxxbutton2.php. This will display anchored link text below the image.

And now about the matches. iMBT is the group that pred, having respectable group like DiAMOND in the list of matches is gonna bring up serious suspicion because 50% people who landed on sz know what scene is.

Actually, not a bad idea. Genius actually. Sheer genius -- based on this, there are some huge things being done right now, with the ability to customize your landing page, even displaying it on your own site, to integrate it etc.. This is TBA! Stay tuned!

Thanks Switchblade. It's true, converions are going to appear lower, if you send traffic BLIND LINKS. As stated previously, there are people who send very LOW traffic which converts at 1:300 -- because that traffic is specifically people who want a particular file and took the conscious effort to click on the link of that file, among some other reasons as well.

Although I have made a lot sales comparing to how much I did before I'm still going to revamp one of my sites completely. I have tested the current "version" of the site for couple days now and it's not converting to good. I know someone who is getting as much as 10sales per day and his site is nothing unique. So yes, there is some truth that it doesn't depend on how you project the affiliate link.

Screw this, sorry optimus im leaving.

Some things tho.

1) Windows open in a new window if you are using adblock plus, this is so when the program im using gets blocked i can use a hidden link method like this and they arent affected.

2) Yeah I forgot to change that link, going to do it now.

3) ^ That would send even more traffic. Im getting about 3k unqiues daily on these sites and sending out 800 or so clicks combined. A while ago that was 1k uniques daily and 300 clicks out a day, 1 sale a day or 2 max.

4) thanks for the tips, tho they generally only apply to sites like sharingzone where you get a subdomain, most sites dont offer that (im coding it for fileprovider atm and giing to see how it goes)

Anyway will see how this goes, unfortunately these new guys only pay via check Oh well.
