WarezDownloads.us Crackcentral.co.ukIPB 3.1 have no capcha hooks before creating a thread.
But there are manyways to stop autoposters.
Some htaccess edit can stop them or use a hook

The glad news is IPB released Capcha hook for IPB 3.2

I have many idea's for blocking autoposters but will just add features when the last one was bypassed
I do have a custom mod that makes it very easy to see people using multiple accounts that works well.
About 25 members UID were banned after about 30 minutes

greedystunez.comYou can normally tell auto-posters by how fast their post count rises they are the 1's you need to watch.

A simple nightly task can check for multiple users using an IP BUT many users use the same few fast proxies to hook to your site.
You could delete about 1/4 of your membership by doing this. Today more and more users are afraid their IP will be gotten when a site is seized and the database is confiscated.

i dont see the point of banning autoposters , autoposters work on sites like warezbb too but they never ban it
if your site is worth posting then people will know to keep their accounts safe and unbanned in it
if your site is shitty dont fucking expect people to post on it manually
simple as that
@gavo your site never gave me hits , so since my multiposter stopped working at yours i dint want to post manually in it because thats a waste of time , but if this was warezbb i would surely post manually , but wbb supports autoposters
autoposters are better than posting manually for me , because when i post manual i always foget the icon ids , prefix and stuff , but i have set my poster 100% perfectly to do the job
anyway when monkeys get machine guns things could get ugly , we should kill the cocksuckers who share templates in public thats how spammers begin

thedailygrindforum.comWhat traffic?? From the thousands of AP'ers that are out there they are all posting the same stuff on every board. That's not so original don't you think.
And what bothers me the most that the AP'ers just doing this to "earn" some so-called money. Get real and get a real job!
And if the links would stay longer alive then it would be more acceptable, but just because they post their links on hundreds of forums the links die within a week. As a result of that, staff people from all those board have a full time job finding all the dead links on the forums and remove the topics/threads. And the forums that are not have staffs or less staff do not have the time to remove all the "dead link topics" and wind up with a database with all crap topics with dead links.
So if a visitor comes to a site and finds out that all the search queries he does on a particular download he wants wind up having dead links. What do you think he will say?? --> "Damn site, all the links are dead, I'll need to go somewhere else to get my stuff"
This is not the traffic/reputation we want.
