can a domain be sold immediately after registering?

It's upto you, They will buy if they like the name..

ya i bought geeklayout.com..i got another domain now...so thought of selling the 1st one... but few guys are telling that i have to wait for a minimum of 60 days before i put it for sale...this will be my 1st domain sale ....

nop it cant, you need to wait 60 days.

But you can transfer the domain to another user on the same company example

namecheap to namecheap just push the domain to the new user.
