Need opinions regarding URL Shortening site

I'm going to start a short URL site.

I need some opinions here.

Should I keep user registration feature in it or not?
It won't be a site that pays users based on number of clicks or whatever.

I personally prefer a short URL site that redirects links to original link after few seconds and shows the original link on the countdown page because it makes things secure so that we don't bump on to some malicious page suddenly.
Do you guys think its correct?

Also please suggest some nice scripts.
I've few in hand but if you guys know any, please let me know.

Check http://yourls.org/ its a free script and it has registration feature where people can track their links stats like *******

Yes YOURLS has an awesome traffic tracking feature. Didn't find it in any other script yet.
But is there any way to add ajax to YOURLS so that when I shorten a URL, it doesn't reload the page?
Also in YOURLS, after submitting a link, the shortened link is shown in a totally new page. I hate that.
Also few seconds wait after redirection to original URL would be nice. Any way to add it to YOURLS? Certainly there's some way I don't know.

Wow! I love the way it shows the destination site in a frame. May well be used for adverts LOL!
Actually I have v2.0 of this script but never tried it. Had no idea that it would be so sexy. I love the admin panel!
By the way, do you know how I can add AJAX to it so that upon long URL submission, the short URL shows up without page reload?
