There is no official method or whatsoever, but you can always try with:

• inurl: forumdisplay.php (remove space)
• inurl: showthread.php (remove space)

That is for the vBulletin powered boards that don't have vBSEO, or some other "pretty links" addon installed.


If you want to search by the boards title:

• intitle: Powered by vBulletin (remove space)

Most board owners don't remove "Powered by vBulletin" from their title, so you'll find literally tons of boards.


Of course, for each method you should use Google's search tools, if you want new results - you can select from past hour, past 24 hours, past week, past month, past year or a custom range if you're searching for something specific.


You could try Googling out the copyright text from the footer as well, but most boards, if not all - have either a modified one, or they replace the real version number with an older one.
