How to check the exact number of Backlinking?

Hey,

I am kinda confused in checking the backlinking thing. Is this a way to find the exact number of backlinks for any site or there are some more ways available?



Alexa stats that i have 99 backlinks for my website (www.mafiablog.org)

What about this one?

I found this while googling and there are some others sites as well who tell us about the backlinking. The above site tells me that i have about 1K Backlinks. What is that?

Is there any way through which we could figure out that how many backlinks are from PR1, PR2, PR3 etc.........??

Other good ones are ahrefs.com and seomoz. They're all free for your own sites, and subscriptions plans for spying on competitors :-)
