    I am using 4GB for my lattop with Windows XP.

    Actually XP can use more than 3GB as long as you run the x64 version (64bit), x86 versions (32bit) are limited to 4GB due to how it is made

    Anyway I currently have 12GB Corsair XMS3 1600MHz in my desktop;



    My CPU is actually over clocked to 4GHz despite what it says in the above image.
