    6GB of rather fast RAM.

    Anymore is usually completely useless for an average gamer (or even a gamer with a high spec pc) due to the fact that most games always use less than 2GB. So you'd only really need it if using specialised software which hogs memory.

    I'd say you wasted your money if you have more than 8, but it's pretty cheap these days anyway.

    Not a PC/Laptop gamer so no need for tons of ram.

    Anyway my specs:

    Laptop 1,
    3 gig DDR2 ram.

    Laptop 2,
    3 gig DDR 2 ram.

    Laptop 3 (Same model as 2),
    3 gig DDR 2 ram.

    Laptop 4 (Used for running really old stuff ),
    128mb SD ram.

    PC 1,
    1 gig DDR 2 ram.

    PC 2,
    1 gig DDR 1 ram.

    PC 3,
    256mb SD ram.

    PC 4,
    256kb EDO ram.

    4GB for PC ( atm ) Ripping out CPU/Board/RAM in new year.

    Be nice for it to go actually go over 1.5GB used lol.

    I got 4GB in here which I always max out with firefox (it reaches 2GB easily cause i always have around 40-50 tabs open) but in my file server im tossing 6GB in it and my HTPC has 12GB waiting. My HTPC is going to be awesome when I get er up n running...
