images r pretty easier to recover with any recovery app from formatted HDD, just google it

STOP following what people above are telling you to do.Take your HDD to the nearest repair/PC shop and give it to them.They use PHYSICAL equipment to recover data.IDK how,but it worked for me.it cost about $35. I had formatted the drive by mistake while reinstalling OS

Scene where do you live and what was the shop? Most mall pc shops do not have the equipment and the ones that do normally charge $200 and up with no garuantee for recovery.

i live in india.what i meant was to give it back to the pc shop where i purchased the pc initially from.they sent it their 'guys' at the backend.i`m not referring to the average shop.mine was a retail chain.$200 was the higher figure.they told me if the data was not recovered,they would not charge me. they also had $50 etc plans.but it usually works.
