It looks like a real mess in this section , any noob can reply on 100000s of intro threads even from 2 or 3 year old threads

i believe its a common and well known rule to close an introduction thread after a certain amount of time

in my forum it was 24 hours

Well from one point of view I can actually understand BB (Breaking Bad ) and his moderation concern that members bump very old threads but because it never ever count towards a post count in that section as Phamous informs about the problem is more or less automatic solved.

Thats both good and smart moderation/administration.

Possible bad (hateful/racist etc) replies its just a matter of report them.
