Let's say for example, I have LimeWire and I download an album. Can I begin having problems with the RIAA simply because I downloaded it or only if I share the file?

Its illegal because you downloaded it without paying the artist.
Then they get you because you are distributing it aswell

It just sucks to get caught haha

I'd just stick to using warez, seems more safer

I don't like paying for premium accounts and using the free option doesn't max out my connection.

P2P sucks because you share the file , make it available for people to download from your computer.

Im pretty sure they dont give a shit about the downloader's (however they do care) but they prefer to spend their time going after the uploaders/seeders..

I really don't like p2p, but gotta say sometimes it works really good.
