Dealing with large site traffic - help

Change your VPS and get a new one with either KnownSRV,XSLTEL or BoxSlots. These 3 are pretty much the best hosts on KWWH.

i am using knownsrv , thats why im frustrated , i know its recommended , and support is helpful , but still the site is super slow , id say 10x then previous server (and it was 512).

im trying to opt everything and use cache.


for conclusion
i know knownsrv are gr8 , but even now when its 12:30 at night over here , and no traffic , it takes me 2-3 min to log in to wp-admin !!!
i dont know if its even related to cache , cuz im "behind the scene" but its super slow.

fuck!ng frustrated !

These are the things that should be optimized (but i guess Krun!x already optimized them)
optional: acp,memcache
configs: myslq (my.cnf - query cache size, key buffer, etc), php (php.ini), change apache to nginx or lighttpd
wordpress: hypercache,super-cache,w3 total cache (choose one)

Also: are there any new plugin installed? I remember that when my wp-admin loaded really slowly, it was because of a plugin/cache error. Create a subdomain on your server, replicate your site and start to experiment with enabling/disabling plugins. If - as Krun!x said - your load is normal then you can experiment on a subdomain (as the server is not overloaded).
Try site load !without! caching engines... i think there is some collision between caching engines.

I had a big site too. it was loading really slow also on a dedi...the problem was, i was using too many plugins. most of them are useless in wp so disable them or search for alternatives. also try to change ur theme.
